Blast Collective
This apparel brand targets a large demographic as it has many affiliated sub-brands for each collection. There are 5 sub brands under the main: Life's a Blast (Women's/Men's casual); Blast Sport (Women/Men sports apparel); Full Blast (Young Adults); Super Blast (Juniors); and Blast Off (Kids). Each apparel line has a different style to target that age group and gender. All lines though promote a sense of energy and vivacity. Women's and Men's lines have their respective colors as seen below.
Solution: In order to unify all the brands to create a sense of cohesion, each sub-brand keeps the main graphic and typography throughout. Having a different color for the mirrored gender visually distinguishes the collections. For instance, the purple-hued "Life's a Blast" is the women's line and the blue-hued "Life's a Blast" is the men's line.
Standards manual lays some of the brand guidelines associated with the new logo. It details the construction of the logo, clear space, minimum and maximum heights, etc.
